Bi-Weekly Payroll Regular Full Time Employees Only
Paid Time Off. This leave benefit may be used for vacations, holidays, sick leave, and personal leave. Leave is based on length of service with the company. Paid Time Off (PTO) accrues each pay period.
Life Insurance Policy. A life insurance policy with the Company paying the full premium.
Voluntary Group Life Insurance. You have the ability to purchase Voluntary Group Term Life Insurance at reduced premiums. Spouse and dependent coverage is available as well.
Group Health Insurance. This is a reduced premium policy for which the Company pays a portion of the cost. Deductions for this benefit are on a pretax basis and are not subject to federal and state income taxes, as well as FICA tax.
VSP Vision Plan offered at affordable group rates.
Health Savings Account. A H S A is a tax advantaged account participants can use to pay for qualified health expenses they incur while covered under a high deductible medical plan. You can elect a dollar amount each pay period, subject to IRS guidelines, to be put into your account on a pre-tax basis. Funds accumulate over time with interest or investment earnings tax free, are portable, and can be used to pay for qualified health expense tax free.
Group Dental Insurance. This is a reduced premium policy for which the Company pays a portion of the cost. Deductions for this benefit are on a pretax basis and are not subject to federal and state income taxes, as well as FICA tax. Flexible Spending Account An FSA lets you use pre-tax dollars for certain eligible medical and dependent daycare expenses. By setting aside money from each paycheck, you pay less in taxes and have money available when you need it to pay for covered services.
401(k) Profit Sharing Program. You are eligible to participate on your first day of employment, provided you are age 21 or older. Under this program, Wink, at its option, plans to match a minimum of 25% of each dollar you contribute up to a maximum of 8% of your salary deferral.
Long-term Disability Income Insurance. Insurance coverage with the Company paying the full cost.
Voluntary Short-term Disability Income Insurance. You have the ability to purchase Short-term disability (STD) income insurance at group rates.
College America Plan. This benefit affords employees the ability to save for college in a program called College America, commonly referred to as the “529”. Your investments in College America can grow free from taxes, and withdrawals for qualified higher education expenses are free from federal income tax through 2010 unless extended by Congress*. This program is offered as a voluntary benefit by the Company through Edward Jones.
Long Term Care Insurance. This voluntary benefit allows you to purchase long-term care insurance in order to avoid depleting your assets if you become disabled, seriously ill, or physically or cognitively unable to care for yourself for a long time period. This benefit is offered to Company employees and their family members at a substantial discount through State Life Insurance Company.
Credit Union Membership. Employees may become members of the Shell New Orleans Federal Credit Union. Through this membership, employees may enjoy many benefits such as checking accounts, share and flex fund type savings accounts, VISA Credit Cards, online account access and 24 hour member telephone system, and a variety of other loan and investment type accounts.
Direct Deposit. Your paycheck may be directly deposited into your checking and/or savings account. Employees have the option of depositing a set dollar amount into a secondary account such as a savings account, with the remainder of the net pay going into their primary account such as a checking account.
Bereavement Leave. Employees are granted bereavement leave for time off due to the death of an immediate family member.
Jury Duty. We encourage employees to fulfill their civic responsibilities by serving jury duty when required. Employees may request up to one week of paid jury duty leave over any one year period.
Military Leave. A military leave of absence will be granted to employees who are absent from work because of service in the U.S. uniformed services in accordance with the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA).
Educational Financial Assistance. Employees are provided with the opportunity for professional development. Financial assistance is available for courses or seminars attended that related to the company’s business objectives or the objectives of affiliated industries in which the company operates.
Registrations and Certifications. Financial assistance may be available for expenses related to employee elected professional registrations/certifications (i.e., PE, EIT, AIA, PLS, CPA)
Service Awards. The company believes it is important to recognize the Full-Time Staff/Full-Time Assigned employees who have reached certain milestones during their tenure of employment.
Employee Assistance Program (EAP). The company recognizes that concerns of a personal nature can have an adverse effect on an employee’s job performance. The company fully funds an Employee Assistance Program so that employees and their families will have access to professional counselors seven days a week, twenty four hours a day, who are qualified to deal with a broad range of human concerns.
